The state parties belong on the desk
National media is loud. The Republican Party is also fifty state organizations, a House conference, a Senate conference, and the governors currently in office. A serious desk keeps them in the same room.

The conservative reader does not need another chute of identical headlines. The reader needs to see who published a thing, and a calm way to leave.
